About us

A home,not a facility.

Licensed for six residents, in one household in Everett, Washington.
Our purpose

Care that keeps a person recognizably themselves.

Bear Care AFH II LLC is a licensed home for up to six adults in Everett. People who need daily care receive it here in a house, not an institution. That is the whole of the idea.

Mission

To care for six people well, rather than many people generally.

Six is a number one household can actually know. Staff learn how each resident takes their coffee, when they sleep badly, who visits and who does not. That knowledge is the service. It does not scale, which is why the licence stops at six.

Vision

A place families can picture someone actually living.

We want Bear Care AFH II LLC to be the kind of home a family can walk through and recognize: quiet rooms, a shared table, a garden. Not a waiting room, but a place to live.

How the home
came to be

Bear Care AFH II LLC is licensed by Washington State as an Adult Family Home and operates from a single residential property in Everett. The home is licensed for six beds, with verified specialties in mental health and dementia.

Being licensed for a small number of residents is a deliberate choice. It sets the ceiling on how many people live here, and it is the reason care can stay personal.
